More Experiments and Chalk Marker Fun

So I have been doing a lot of experimenting with chalk markers and different inks and seeing the different shades they can create. Also have had fun with Sumi ink and suggest by Thomas Van Auken great artist and posts on Face Book check him out.

 

 

Time was between 5 to 12 minutes for each. Really enjoying the experimenting.

Alot has Happened and is Happening but only focusing on the Art. First the Short Drawing and Experiments.

 

 Ok l have been trying to get back into painting one way or another. l have started adding water color gestures to my menu of drawing. Most amount of time is 4 minutes least amount of time is 60 seconds.

Sorry everybody about the long absence l have been productive and appreciate all the views. Been developing a new approach (style). Mixing things up and getting closer towards my ambition and maybe starting a kick starter to fund a larger project based on the strength of my new approach. Chalk Marker has been a fun medium to play around with and carry. Shall be explaining my approach and methods soon. Before the end of the month. Once again much appreciate the views and support.

Drawing with comfort being the main focus.

Ok l have been focusing on drawing models and having them be as comfortable as possible. We discuss the pose but l do not need the model to be still and lifeless. We talk during the session and l allow the drawing to be organic. The model is comfortable l don't tape off a pose. l don't aim to be a camera, l aim to understand the subject and l try to capture the person. This has helped me loosen up a lot in my artistic process.
